  • Shot in Cotswolds & London July 2006

Before After and After ThatA feelgood, very British, sweet romantic comedy that brings fantasy, dreams & desire to life!

It was first screened at The Curzon Cinema, Soho on 15th October 2007. It is now being be entered into both UK and International Film Festivals and will hopefully be used to raise finance for other projects and as well as developing a feature length version.

It's a lovely film - a treat to watch... the Gloucestershire 16th manor house and garden were dreamy. Entertaining, witty and very watchable.
RUTH CALEB (Producer/Executive Producer, Drama Production & BBC Films)

It is a great achievement to get a film made and this one looks really good so well done for that. It is indeed a feel good movie and I am glad it had that effect on your audience.
SIMON RELPH (Skreba Creon Films)

I think you have a good film with some great laughs and you could tell that everyone must have enjoyed making it. I really enjoyed the contrast between the film footage and the film.
QWERTY FILMS

Vika, who works in development here, came back with some very positive comments.

I felt the film worked well as a warm and sweet romantic comedy and applaud you all for making it on such a tight budget.

Not Coming InTrevor and Becca live a very happy and uncomfortable 'oddinary' life.

Trevor enjoys being driven around by his girlfriend Becca, visiting their friends and family. However when they arrive he always decides on 'not coming in'. As she pays her flying visits, Trevor sits and waits in the car. He watches their conversations in the house and he voices what he imagines they are talking about.

NOT COMING IN was made for Virgin Media Shorts and has done extremely well. It was screened on the main screen at the BANG FILM FESTIVAL and has now been offered worldwide distribution by SHORTS INTERNATIONAL www.shortsinternational.com

Not Coming In is a suitably daft comment on modern life. Keep on trucking!
Rebecca O Brien, Producer, Sixteem Films

Congratulations on your latest project Not Coming In!
Emma Greaves, New Cinema Fund, UK Film Council

That's a delightful film... the basic device of him bitterly revoicing their conversation is gorgeous... audiences will love it - it's very funny!
Ben Blaine, Shooting People

Simon Relph, Producer (Skreba Creon Films)

I have watched it and I thought it was great!

Quotes from the Virgin Media Shorts Website:

A perfect two minute snapshot of the 21st Century, dysfunctional family. Awesome!

Wonderful - beautiful observation, sharply cut together, great cast, strangely moving and very very funny - I'm still laughing!

Cracking stuff - we all know people like that. I think I am one! A highly amusing film. I kind of feel that there is a sequel somewhere!

Hilarious! Can see this as a comedy series.

This would not be out of place as a part of a comedy feature. Excellent!

Carolina and SchumanCarolina and Schuman join forces with their crew once again! From the success‘ ‘Not Coming In’, ‘ODDINARY PEOPLE’ looks at characters we see and love and in every day life. Just ‘normal’ people living simple lives but behave on the ‘odd’ side of ordinary.

We capture our characters essence and inner personalities by recording snippets of their lives and how they interact. We celebrate the ‘normality’ and the mundane in the people we all know and love…. or hate. We smile as we recognise and relate to their actions and hear ourselves say ‘ I know people that do that!’

In Production: Maid Marians

‘They took from the dads to give to the mums’

  • Written by Carolina Giammetta & Penn Linfield
  • A screenplay/series in development with Growp & Spool Films

Maid Marians‘When I left college... if I’d have known by the age of 30, I’d be a single mum, still in Nottingham, in rented accommodation, doin’ crap promo work to letchy men and smelly students... dressed as a tropical fruit... I’d of topped myself!’

When four Nottingham women, facing their thirties as struggling single parents, are placed in a desperate situation, they reveal just how powerful and resourceful they can be. We follow their journey of survival and friendship as they yearn to find the ‘perfect’ future.

Carolina and Penn went to Cannes and came back with a little bit of development money for Maid Marians. It was originally written as a screenplay and has received some great feedback from the Industry. After sitting on the project for while they now intend to bring it back to life and develop it for TV.
