Carolina Giammetta Cordes is the director of Grow. She employs and works with a team of trained freelance theatre and film professionals to deliver her programmes.

DIRECTOR OF GROW
Carolina trained at The Arts Educational Schools and has been working as a freelance actress, writer, producer and drama practitioner since 1991. She has worked extensively as an actress in TV, Film, Theatre and Radio and has produced, written and directed many shows, plays and films. She first started using drama skills in the corporate and business world and has collaborated for more than 10 years with Tradesecrets, working on projects for BBH Advertising, Unilever, BT, Orange, Interbrand, Mackinsys, Hogshead pubs. BBC. CBBC Learning (Me & My Movie). Prudential, Nestle UK.
Over the last 16 years she has worked in hundreds of schools and conferences around the country, with students, teachers and LEA coordinators, regularly facilitating Master classes and specialised drama-based workshops. She has freelanced for Bigfoot Arts Education since 2000 and continues to be the company’s master trainer, training new and on-going Staff. She created and facilitates their Inset programme ‘Creative Approach’ and co-created and produced London Talent, a pan London performing arts summer school for London’s Gifted and Talented, funded by the DFES, LGT, AIM-HIGHER and many London Boroughs. The project ran for three years, involved 600 young people, over 60 partnerships with many Arts and educational organisations and produced 11 full scale theatre shows which were performed at some of London’s most prestigious theatres, and 25 short films screened at The National Film Theatre.
She also runs a production arm called GROWP and regularly collaborates with Studio Schoque.
